Don't waste your time comparing companies who can build your composite deck; I spent weeks doing that research for you. Decks Unlimited, with Hiram at the helm, did a beautiful job using Trex and Timbertech products which I chose. I highly recommend them; you will be pleased.

Marvel and team were terrific; from the quote, to tear out of my old deck, to building the new deck. Unlike the other three quotes I received, Marvel's quote gave me detail and not just a price. And, he quoted on several different products which was extra work. Besides the quality of the craftsmanship, the clean-up was impeccable. No construction debris was left....and no lunch/snack trash ie., cans, bottles, chip bags. cigarette butts were left behind. (If there were any to leave behind!) I never imagined that I would have a new deck in February! They worked in the cold and had to navigate saturated wet ground due to the ice and rain. All set to landscape in the Spring! I highly recommend Decks Unlimited. I am very impressed with our new deck. They got to it quicker than they said they could and tore down my old deck and rebuilt very quickly. I am impressed with the craftsmanship shown in the job. They even provided the extra customer service touch of putting my grill up on my new deck, remembering that I previously needed assistance getting it down. This was all done at a fair price as well. I had received other bids and am very happy with choice of using this company.

We couldn't be happier with our new deck. We had an old wooden deck off of the 2nd floor (maybe 12 feet off the ground) that needed replacing. Craig had his guys completely rip out the old deck and replace with a new trex deck in roughly a week start to finish. We had another estimate from a large, relatively local deck builder and this estimate was 10-15% less. Deck looks fantastic, Marvel and his guys were there dawn to dusk until it was done. Great job, highly recommend these guys!

I was very happy to have chosen Deck's Unlimited for our project. The quality of the deck and professionalism of the crew were outstanding. They worked fast but were diligent on every detail. If something was just a little off, they re-worked without any prompting. Marvel was my contact from the beginning and he delivered on every aspect of our agreement. Our project was demo and removal of existing deck and replace with a much larger footprint. We ran into a few unforeseen issues which the team professionally handled. They completed the project from start to finish in just 4 days and it looks great and its done correctly.

If you are stopping on Deck’s Unlimited’s web site to look for a deck contractor in Louisville, LOOK NO FURTHER. I worked with Craig Small and he was the most honest, open, dependable contractor I have ever worked with. Craig responded to text messages and phone calls to a fault. We water proofed our deck. After it was installed, it was leaking between the baseboard and the house, my wife filmed it and I showed it to Craig via text. His response was “This is unacceptable, we will fix it.” A few days later, they had taken up the boards, installed flashing, and fixed the issue. I’m installing a pool and I wish that Craig installed pools. I would use him for every contracting job I needed if he did more than just deck. In fact, I am eventually going to finish the ceiling of my walk out basement. Instead of using the pool contractors deck guy, I’m going to have Craig come out and finish. Craig’s team that installed my deck were polite, professional, and true craftsmen. They tore out my old deck, hand carried it all out of my yard, and installed a beautiful deck that will hopefully last a life time. In today’s world, it is hard to find a trust worthy contractor. Like I stated before, Craig is an honest person who’s word means something. I’d recommend him a million times over and would use him and his team again if my deck ever needed work (it shouldn’t).

We had our deck replaced two weeks ago. Craig Small met with us in November and designed the project . We agreed and his crew started work in mid December. Our goal was to have the project completed before Christmas, and it was. Our deck is made of treated wood and we have a ramp as well as two stairways. The crew are good carpenters and they worked efficiently and were very courteous. Each night they moved their tools aside so that we had free access to our driveway and garage. The project was completed in five days. We are very satisfied with our new deck and would recommend Decks Unlimited for any deck project that you might have.
