Marvel and his crew are awesome. He came and took pictures sent me an estimate and explained several options. They worked through the rain. This crew worked all day and left their work area spotless when the project was completed.

What set Craig and his crew apart was their desire to build the deck of our dreams and not some standard deck form of their design. From the outset we requested alternative design specifications that were different than their usual way of making decks (beams 6x6”, 2x6” boards instead of deck planking. encasing posts with cement so no wood was in contact with dirt ) which they adapted to easily and with great enthusiasm. Throughout the project we altered plans and shifted design which they accommodated most readily. We particularly enjoyed the work ethic and personality of our crew (Rafa, Carlos, Junior, Yoel). If you are stopping on Deck’s Unlimited’s web site to look for a deck contractor in Louisville, LOOK NO FURTHER. I worked with Craig Small and he was the most honest, open, dependable contractor I have ever worked with. Craig responded to text messages and phone calls to a fault. We water proofed our deck. After it was installed, it was leaking between the baseboard and the house, my wife filmed it and I showed it to Craig via text. His response was “This is unacceptable, we will fix it.” A few days later, they had taken up the boards, installed flashing, and fixed the issue. I’m installing a pool and I wish that Craig installed pools. I would use him for every contracting job I needed if he did more than just deck. In fact, I am eventually going to finish the ceiling of my walk out basement. Instead of using the pool contractors deck guy, I’m going to have Craig come out and finish. Craig’s team that installed my deck were polite, professional, and true craftsmen. They tore out my old deck, hand carried it all out of my yard, and installed a beautiful deck that will hopefully last a life time. In today’s world, it is hard to find a trust worthy contractor. Like I stated before, Craig is an honest person who’s word means something. I’d recommend him a million times over and would use him and his team again if my deck ever needed work (it shouldn’t).
