About Us

Craig from Decks Unlimited has been building decks for decades. He is very precise and accurate about exactly what we want. His team worked hard and had the deck done quickly (less time than estimated) and beautifully. Everything was done to the agreed specifications and estimate. While starting our deck, a problem with our house chimney/siding was discovered. They made us aware of a problem that had clearly been there for years. We quickly got someone to repair it, and Craig and his team graciously flexed with this new timeline and finished the work the next week after the repair work had been done. The deck is perfect and we look forward to many years enjoyment.

Craig Small and his crew did a fine job building my deck. I appreciated the fact that the quote was correct and the build was solid. They did exactly what they said they would and even tacked on a small separate job for me. Thank you Craig and crew.

Cable railing installed on deck, porch and walkway. Start, finish on time. Daily clean up. Courteous, professional installers. Fair price. No surprises. I'm happy!

Professionally done. Really happy with the results. everything was done as requested. pricing was fair. Top tier high grade pressure treated wood. Craig Small and Crew worked fast but not sloppy and when they finished they meticulously left the area clean. Hire this company its worth it.

Very professional acting outfit. Crew showed up and worked hard every day all day. They cleaned up their mess daily and the work looks to be outstanding. They did a nearly complete rebuild of my deck and stairs in a composite deck board with aluminum handrails. Very happy with the end result and I would definitely recommend Decks Unlimited.

Decks Unlimited was great! Marvel communicates wonderfully. Marvel and their crews make sure what you want is built correctly and you’re happy. My family loves the deck addition that was built for our pool. The quality of the deck and the way the deck was built…we get compliments from guests all the time. Craig, the owner, was professional to speak with. I wouldn’t hesitate to have this company build again for us. Definitely recommending them to friends and family…give them a call!!!

The crew was great and delivered an excellent product. Looking forward to spending a lot of time on the new deck!

Beautiful deck and screen room, just what I wanted. Craig and his crew did quality work in a timely fashion. Highly recommend.

We live in a condo and have a small deck that was rotted and unsightly. We got three quotes and Decks Unlimited offered the best price and the most comprehensive quote. We worked with Marvel and his crew who were excellent...on time, polite, hard working. The deck was demolished and replaced with composite in less than a day! We could not be more pleased. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Polite and courteous. Worked with us to help determine what we wanted to do. Work completed professionally and on schedule. Very satisfied, would definitely use them again. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Highly satisfied client. Decks Unlimited achieved every expectation that was sought out by us homeowners. From the architectural design phases, timeliness, and attention to details they met our expectations. The professionalism of Marvel-project mgr. along with the owner-Craig, all communication was spot on from start to finish. This company is serious about doing it right. Can’t ask for a better crew of respectful to the needs of their customers.

Craig and his crew did a fantastic job on our covered patio and new deck. Great workmanship/quality, communication, follow-up, and competitively priced. We are very happy with the result!

I love the look of my new porch by Decks Unlimited. This company is solid as a rock. I enjoyed working with the team. Very professional and great team work. I highly recommend them for your next project. Robert and Margaret

Decks Unlimited just completed building me my dream porch. Crews were professional and extremely hard working. The result is a beautifully crafted screened porch that will be enjoyed for years. Craig was great to work with and provided a clear guide of what my project would look like and how the project would proceed. The on site crew exhibited an impressive work ethic. Highly recommend Decks Unlimited!

Thank you Decks Unlimited! Craig and his team professionally managed our deck replacement project from start to finish. Craig’s deck building experience and insights were very helpful as we were planning the project. The team then did a GREAT job from demo to completion in just over a week. The result, a great new deck renewing our outdoor living space for us to enjoy! MJ

Decks Unlimited is the absolute best. The crew was professional and took pride in efficiently rebuilding my deck. The management was outstanding keeping me informed and working as a team with the crew to achieve a professional finished product -a beautiful well built deck.

Decks Unlimited just finished a deck renovation project for me. They did a great job start to finish! Craig and his crew were very easy to work with and they did everything they said they said they were going to do, and the quality of the work was a 10 out 10! I highly recommend Decks Unlimited! Craig and his team did an amazing job on our new deck last fall. The replacement deck perfectly matches the original design, which was over 14 years old. Craig has been extremely responsive to any small fixes needed, and his team addresses these issues professionally and efficiently. The deck looks fantastic, with high-quality craftsmanship evident in every detail. I will definitely use their services again in the future.

Craig was very professional, and the work done was exemplary. They had to tear down my old deck and build a new one double the size. The work was completed in 3 days! I opted to have the composite flooring. Pricing was reasonable and honest. They showed up on time, and were very professional. I am glad that I found them, and I am sure that you will be too! Already recommended them to many of my friends.

Decks Unlimited built a beautiful deck for us. Marvel and his crew were excellent. The guys worked long days in very hot weather. They were very punctual and did very precise work, & paid close attention to detail. Craig came up with some excellent ideas that resulted in a deck even nicer than we could have imagined. I highly recommend them.

If you are stopping on Deck’s Unlimited’s web site to look for a deck contractor in Louisville, LOOK NO FURTHER. I worked with Craig Small and he was the most honest, open, dependable contractor I have ever worked with. Craig responded to text messages and phone calls to a fault. We water proofed our deck. After it was installed, it was leaking between the baseboard and the house, my wife filmed it and I showed it to Craig via text. His response was “This is unacceptable, we will fix it.” A few days later, they had taken up the boards, installed flashing, and fixed the issue. I’m installing a pool and I wish that Craig installed pools. I would use him for every contracting job I needed if he did more than just deck. In fact, I am eventually going to finish the ceiling of my walk out basement. Instead of using the pool contractors deck guy, I’m going to have Craig come out and finish. Craig’s team that installed my deck were polite, professional, and true craftsmen. They tore out my old deck, hand carried it all out of my yard, and installed a beautiful deck that will hopefully last a life time. In today’s world, it is hard to find a trust worthy contractor. Like I stated before, Craig is an honest person who’s word means something. I’d recommend him a million times over and would use him and his team again if my deck ever needed work (it shouldn’t).

Start to finish was a very smooth process. Excellent work, excellent price. Craig the owner and Marvel and his crew kept us updated and were finished before we knew it. We are very pleased.

Craig and his team removed and old existing deck and built a new one. I was happy with the price and responsiveness. The quality of the deck built is professionally done with treated wood. I would use his team again

I was very happy to have chosen Deck's Unlimited for our project. The quality of the deck and professionalism of the crew were outstanding. They worked fast but were diligent on every detail. If something was just a little off, they re-worked without any prompting. Marvel was my contact from the beginning and he delivered on every aspect of our agreement. Our project was demo and removal of existing deck and replace with a much larger footprint. We ran into a few unforeseen issues which the team professionally handled. They completed the project from start to finish in just 4 days and it looks great and its done correctly.

From start to finish Craig Small and his team were great to work with! My wife and I are extremely pleased with the results. And, look forward to years of enjoying our gorgeous deck.

We couldn't be happier with our new deck. We had an old wooden deck off of the 2nd floor (maybe 12 feet off the ground) that needed replacing. Craig had his guys completely rip out the old deck and replace with a new trex deck in roughly a week start to finish. We had another estimate from a large, relatively local deck builder and this estimate was 10-15% less. Deck looks fantastic, Marvel and his guys were there dawn to dusk until it was done. Great job, highly recommend these guys!

Great experience overall. Project was completed in the exact amount of time estimated, the crew did a great job keeping things tidy while building and the new deck looks great.

We had a large project of taking down a 46x14ft deck including a 2nd story covered section, build an outdoor bar while also finishing a shed under one side. The crew was exception with communication and their ability to take a vision on paper and make it a reality. Highly recommend.

Craig and his team did an excellent job. I highly recommend Decks Unlimited. They were very professional. Came on time every day. Cleaned up everyday better than any work crew I’ve ever seen. The job was finished in a timely manner. His crew has an excellent work ethic. They met or exceeded all of our expectations! Our job was a tear down and replace, the suggestions that Craig made were spot on. We are so pleased with the results and will enjoy our deck for many years to come.

From initial contact until completion professional and ethical. Crew performing construction always courteous, efficient, and completed a deck we will be proud of for years to come.

A+++ Great customer service, good craftsmanship very expedient.

Craig and his crew were even better than we expected. After waiting 10 months with another contractor for a name brand composite deck and still no progress, we called Craig with Decks Unlimited. Craig came right over and helped us design our updated composite deck using the Deckorator product. 7 short weeks later we have our new deck! The installation crew worked together so impressively, even when it was 99 degrees outside. Thanks Craig and crew for coming through for us! We have already recommended Decks Unlimited to several others.

Marvel and team were terrific; from the quote, to tear out of my old deck, to building the new deck. Unlike the other three quotes I received, Marvel's quote gave me detail and not just a price. And, he quoted on several different products which was extra work. Besides the quality of the craftsmanship, the clean-up was impeccable. No construction debris was left....and no lunch/snack trash ie., cans, bottles, chip bags. cigarette butts were left behind. (If there were any to leave behind!) I never imagined that I would have a new deck in February! They worked in the cold and had to navigate saturated wet ground due to the ice and rain. All set to landscape in the Spring! I highly recommend Decks Unlimited .

His decks are custom built, also well built, They aim to please

From the start on time, very professional with his bid. Called Craig back on different occasions with questions, quick to reply, Crew started on time, worked thru the heat of the day and cleaned up after each day. Will pass on name and number to friends.

Marvell and the crew were awesome. They gave me a terrific quote and did exceptional work!

Decks Unlimited did a great job in remodeling our existing deck. It was a big job, but Craig's crew were up to the task and did a masterful job. Very professional and expert craftmanship throughout. I would highly recommend them and their 5-star work to anyone!

Craig and his crew were very professional and a pleasure to work with. The new deck they built for me exceeded my expectations. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again if I ever needed anymore deck work.

It was great working with Craig, Marvel and the rest of the crew. They did an awesome job of removal and replacement of our 2 level covered deck. Hard working professional crew that completed the job in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them!

Very happy with my new back deck. The team did a great job and were very quick!

Sandy did a great job repairing the sagging floor of my huge deck. Very professional and explained in detail the repair. Highly recommend Decks Unlimited!

Does what they say are are going to do 5. clean afterwards Would highly recommend Decks Unlimited - they are worth the price of quality and professionalism J Fleming - Louisville, KY

The Decks Unlimited team, from owner to installers, were professional, courteous and great to work with. We highly recommend them!

Craig and his team were great to work with, and I appreciated their ability to solve a particularly complex issue to accommodate the deck design I had in mind. The crew was very hardworking, something that also caught the eye of my neighbor. We are very happy with our new deck and would recommend Decks Unlimited to anyone.
